Puri Mesari Hotel

We loved our stay here! The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect with out us even asking, for example; they would leave fresh towels on our sunbeds when we were in the pool and we wouldn't have even asked The staff were all so smiley and lovely and it created such a beautiful atmosphere. We hired bikes from the hotel and biked to the beach we were at the start of the promenade here so loved being able to bike up and down the beach promenade :)

We booked this accommodation for 3 nights but left after just 1. We were shown three different rooms because the first two were already too dirty and damaged. We finally got “the best” one, but if that was the best, I don’t even want to imagine the others. The walls were covered in mold and damp stains, the floor had broken tiles, and when we woke up in the morning there was a cockroach lying in the middle of the room as if it was saying goodbye. The bathroom was even worse, yellow stains, grime, and a smell you won’t easily forget. And to be clear, this isn’t the cleaners’ fault. The staff were genuinely friendly and really tried their best. The problem is the accommodation itself: it's old, worn-out, and incredibly dirty. What this place needs is a full renovation, not a quick wipe of a cloth. We couldn’t get a refund since we booked through Booking.com, but we were not planning on staying here for another second so we accepted the loss and left. Out of all the places we stayed during our 5 weeks in Bali, this was by far the worst. Don’t book this place, not even for one night, unless you’re in the mood for mold, cockroaches, and an unforgettable experience for all the wrong reasons.

Excellent place quiet location, staff were friendly and very helpful, we extended our stay a couple of times because of how good the value for money was, it’s only a 15 minute walk to the beach also
