Tropic Isle Beach Resort

This a small hotel/motel like structure. It is kept very clean and the grounds well maintained. We stayed in the one-bedroom apartment (Room 16) which was fairly spacious and had an outside balcony. The apartment was clean and met all requirements. The hotel is just one short block from the beach. We appreciated the use of the free beach chairs, the clean towels replaced daily, and the pool.

Only complaint is that the only air-conditioner was in the living room. It was quite hot while we were there and the a/c unit was adequate to cool the whole apartment. However there was no a/c in the bedroom. It would have been OK if we had left the bedroom door open to the living room at night to get the cool air, but we closed the door to give our daughter sleeping on the sleeper couch in the living room some privacy, so the bedroom got quite warm. There was a ceiling fan in the bedroom which worked well so it was not too bad, but would have been better with an a/c in the bedroom.

The Tropic Iske Beach Resort was in a great location! Was safe, clean and quiet. Easy walk to the beach and Deerfield Pier. Tonya was wonderful to deal with!!!
