Casa Bambú Boutique Studios Andalusië with pool and Mountain Views

A lovely cosy resort with lovely owners. They had just acquired the ownership and they were preparing for the summer season while learning the ins and outs of their beautiful resort, surrounded by mango and advocado farms. The nighttime lighting is wonderful and the stillness was broken by the chatter (barking) of all the neighbourhood dogs who brought each other upto date on the daily events. This was wonderfull but lasted only about a half hour.

Due to the location, out in the sticks 😅, the resort is ideal for those with their own transport means otherwise the local taxi company will be delighted with your repeat business. €20 into Velez, €30 to the beach of Torre del Mar and about €75 to the airport or central Malaga.

We stayed at Casa Bambú for tree nights and had a very pleasant stay. The property is beautifylly situated in the hills above Vélez-Malaga, offering stunning mountain views and a peaceful atmosphere. We had a small clean apartment with all the kitchen equipment you might need for a short stay, and we especially appreciated having our own small terrace where we enjoyed breakfast every morning surrounded by nature. Casa Bambu has reacently changed ownership and is now run by Olaf and Verena, whose warmth and hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. They clearly care about the place and have exciting plans for the future. We wish them all the best and would definitely love to return.

nice quite oasis away from tourist crowds

We spent only one night here, but I wish it could be more. The view and place is more than beautiful. There is a pool, and several cozy spot in the court. It's far away from the big citys, in the mountains, so I recommend it if you are by car. The mountain road is signposted, making it easier to find. We are late a little bit, but the lady on the other side of the phone was very kind and understanding. We got every information what needed.

Esteban was friendly the only time we saw him (at breakfast, only). The night before, when we were lost trying to get to this (very) inaccessible aparthotel and contacting him via whastapp and phone for guidance… he didn’t answer

Good country location. Nice pool (although I didn't use it) and terrace areas.

The requests to do things like not put the heat up too much, or the fridge too cold. I appreciate this place is off grid, but it seemed like a lot of norms and rules and scrimping and saving – the appliances were also very cheap. I didn't like being asked for a €50 damage deposit just before arrival either.

The view, the silence, the outside with enough places to sit, the comfortable bed and the friendly owners who helped us out when our car broke down bij calling a cab, telling us where to rent another and letting us to leave our old-timer on the parking lot in front while we where away for 3 days.
