Lula's Bed & Breakfast

We liked the traditional feel of the place, great welcome from Alan couldn’t do enough for you , every little detail was thought about . Room was good size and clean spotless. Bed was very comfy however the small bed was uncomfortable new matress needed. That was only complaint. The hammock on veranda great for relaxing. Breakfast was lovely. Beautiful dogs.

Comfortable property in quiet bit of town. Great sea view from upstairs veranda. Alan and Tammy are the best at customer service, everything went perfectly. Great breakfast too.

Lula’s was a perfect place to stay in Bocas! The property gave off a homestyle vibe and the hosts were very warm and welcoming. Rooms were very clean, had hot water, air conditioning, and relatively quiet throughout the night. The complementary breakfast was also a nice touch as it was one less thing to think about before starting your day. It’s also very short walk to Bocas Town with great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend Lula’s if you’re staying in Bocas Del Toro.

The hosts are wonderful, the property was beautiful, tidy and clean. There are two lovely dogs that greeted us with waving tags and smily faces. There is a view of the water from the second floor lounging area. The hosts have a “honour bar” which worked wonderfully! You write your name down and settle up at the end of your stay. The bed was very comfortable, soft sheets, fluffy pillows and great mattress - it was the best sleep I had throughout Panama. The location is great, a very short walk to every in the town but far enough away that you don’t hear the music. All and all, really great experience and would highly recommend!

Lula’s was so welcoming! Very clean and quiet, great location. Alan and Tammy were very accommodating with any requests and answered any questions about touring Bocas. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Lula’s. Excellent location on quiet street away from the centre but within easy walking distance from the centre. Complimentary breakfast was tasty and common breakfast room was a nice opportunity to meet other guests. We loved the common porch area providing view of the water across the street and entertaining hummingbirds constantly feeding from the feeders on the property. Consistent hot water for showers which was appreciated after busy days exploring the area.

Tammy and Alan, owners of the property, when above and beyond my expectations. The cook was excellent. Breakfast was superb. The room was clean and neat . Air conditioned, also fan. The bedding soft and clean , also the towels. The only suggestion that I have is a line for wet towels and bathing suits. Besides that everything excellent.

Lula is wonderful! I especially loved the upstairs area with the hammocks, overlooking the ocean. I had a couple great naps up there with the hummingbirds. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Love that they have beach towels and snorkels for use and bikes for rent. It's off the main drag which means peace and quiet for a good night sleep. Amazing rain showers, comfy beds and great air conditioning for those steamy Bocas nights!

Tammy is the hostess with the mostess..! Lula’s was perfect for us—great location, clean, quiet, and affordable..! Tammy consistently went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, she has thought of everything to make her guests happy. Bocas is a beautiful island and we really loved our visit!
