GiG Capsule Hostel

Everything was perfect. We met a bunch of great people, the hostel is modern and clean, Goncalo the owner is a legend, and you’re staying in the heart of the Ericeira old town so close to the beach. Highly recommend!

Gonzalo, nos trató de maravilla, un conversador estupendo, nos hizo el favor de guardar nuestras bicicletas en su garaje y sus compañeras nos abrieron el garaje a las 8:00 para que pudiéramos emprender nuestra ruta temprano. Sin duda un sitio estupendo para conocer está preciosa ciudad costera.

This place was absolutely amazing. I can't believe how comfortable were the beds. I decided to stay here because of the convenient price, but I ended sleeping better than in a hotel. The capsules are spaciuos and you could turn down the curtain fully blocking the lights. Everything was always perfectly clean, even the days the hostel was at full capacity. The location couldn't be better, a few steps from the main street with all the restaurants, but in a quiet street. Also walking distance from several beaches, including ones where you can surf. Rocio and Gonçalo really went out of their way to give me an amazing experience, helping me to surf, try local foods, and also had great conversations with them. Will definitely come back.
