We stayed in one of the detached huts and absolutely loved it. The landscaping was exceptionally well done, creating the feeling of being immersed in a rainforest when looking out from the terrace and main window. The vegetation also provided excellent privacy between the individual huts. The entire property felt peaceful, natural, and very relaxing. The staff were wonderful throughout our stay—always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything we needed, whether it was extra water for a hike, lending an umbrella, or answering questions about the island. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely cared for.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Senhora da Rosa in Ponta Delgada. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for by the entire staff. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly maintained. We appreciated every aspect of our stay: the comfortable room, the excellent breakfast, the relaxing atmosphere, and the high level of professionalism shown by all the employees. Every detail was carefully managed, making our experience truly enjoyable. A special thank you to the team for their kindness, hospitality, and attention to guests. It was a beautifully appointed hotel that felt luxurious. It also had a sustainable ethos. Breakfast was very good. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. We were sorry not to have used moreof the facilities.

The rooms felt rather humid and had a musty smell at times. We needed to use A/C to combat this.
