Stayed here many times and love the location

Really nice location, views were great and the room and bed super comfy. For the price, I was expecting a lot less.

Everything was absolutely fine. Staff extremely friendly and very helpful. The menu offered is 'pub' rather than 'restaurant' food but the ingredients were fresh, excellent quality and cooked and presented perfectly.

Bar and restaurant was a bit chilly as the evening went on. With hindsight we should have asked them to light the fire. But they should have foreseen this. We weren't offered dessert and they didn't clear away the plates after the main meal.

Toilet needed a bit attention. Wasn't cleaned properly after previous visitor. English breakfast was good size, however sausages could be better quality.

The room was very comfortable and clean with a lovely view

The food! Was really expecting better given previous reviews I had read. Choice was limited and the meals felt they had been cooked and stored for weeks and reheated. Vegetables certainly didn't taste fresh and whatever you do don't order a Caesar salad. Lettuce limp and tired and as for the chicken, was overcooked bits scraped off legs!
