USEllinospito is a gem! A beautiful property set in the mountains of Crete. We stayed for a night on our way from Chania to Heraklion, but I wish to come back for a longer stay sometime. We were greeted by the host and showed to our room, which had a balcony looking out over the mountains. It was quiet and completely peaceful, with the sounds of birds and goat bells in the hills creating an idyllic feeling. The mountain drive from Chania had beautiful views as well, with lots of winding turns to keep things exciting. We stopped on the way for groceries for dinner and breakfast. The property is beautiful, and you can tell that the owners take great care to make it comfortable.

ILThis is house located just outside Axos village on the hillside, 1 hour drive from the airport. The bird songs in the morning, the gentle goats sounds and the green surrounding was perfect for relaxing. I wish we could stay more time in this magical place!
AUVery comfortable and tranquil surroundings! Perfect location for visiting Mount Ida. Staff were so welcoming and generous.
