The place is quietly being run down, it would take thousands to renovate. The restaurant has closed due to lack of staff, the hotel page on Booking.com said it would be open, no notification to the contrary was given. Although cheaper than the hotel next door the price does not reflect the condition of the business.

"A traditional and friendly hotel with free parking"

As an overnight stop on a road trip, this hotel was great. It was clean, very friendly, we had a large room with generally adequate facilities, free parking, and the breakfast was super.

The hotel is very traditional but a little dated, and a kettle in the room to make a hit drink would have been very welcome.
