Appartement sympathique mais un peu froid pour la saison. Un grand bravo aux cuisinières et à la personne au service qui sont l’âme du lieu. C’était un très bon moment.

Il y avait un grande groupe malheureusement nous étions à l’écart.

Accueil chaleureux, hôtes à l’écoute, dîner et petit déjeuner très sympathiques

Literie moyenne et problème avec le chauffe eau (travaux en cours?) qui nous a valu une douche froide et une remise de la part de notre hôte

David & Emma are a lovely and modest couple. The accommodation is beautifully designed and maintained and as for the view ....breathtaking. Their love and understanding of the wonderful Alpujarras region is reflected in every detail, not least the exceptional cuisine they and their staff create. This all shines through in their fabulous book "Las Chimeneas" They ensured my stay was effortless and quite literally unforgettable. My sincere thanks to all at Las Chimeneas.

Las Chimeneas provides a charming, home-like stay in the Sierra Nevadas. We reserved the characterful loft style apartment, "Azotea Pepper Loft Studio" with upper bedroom and 360 valley view roof terrace. The lower level living space included a kitchenette and "ready to light"wood fire place which we enjoyed in the cool early Spring. Evening dinner was delicious including a menu choice of griddled endives with pistachio vinaigrette or asapragus with local jamon serrano/grilled cheese, chicken brochette with Moroccan spices or spinach with chickpeas, and deserts of local requeson soft cheese/walnuts and honey or homemade brownie and ice cream. We tried it all!

We wished we stayed longer!
