Las Chimeneas

This is a very special place. Don’t go there expecting a boutique hotel with all the fancy trimmings - Las Chimeneas isn’t like that. Go there for peace, wonderful fresh, local food, and owners who know and love the area. If you enjoy walking, Emma and David will give you directions to explore the paths of the Alpujarras, or even go along and show you the way, with tons of information to share as you go. If you enjoy doing nothing, the tiny pool is perfect for the occasional dip in between lounging with a good book. Our room was very simple, but had everything we needed. And did I mention the food? We won’t forget our stay, thanks to everyone at Las Chimeneas for a fantastic few days.

Beautiful appartment, nice restaurant

Check-in was a bit unclear/chaotic

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The room was absolutely beautiful and we had a great view. The location is remote, but that's what we were looking for. I was little skeptical about hiking at first, but I was wrong. We did the "Top of the World" hike: good views, almond blossoms and much more.

Excellent communication before arrival with the friendly, knowledgeable hosts, delicious food from the recipe available to buy and that was featured on the recent TV programme, stunning situation. I could go on and on...

Bed not comfortable I like a firm bed but the bed had no give at all. Everything else spot on.

David and Emma and the staff were great hosts. The food was excellent and the guidance on walking in the area was second to none. The scenery was spectacular. I would highly recommend it!
