Exceptional location. Exceptional villa. Located on a hill and nothing but the nature reserve surrounds you. The darkness allows great views into the nigthty sky.

"A MUST STAY WHEN IN NAMIBIA"

#1 Accommodation in Namibia (judged after our 30-day North-to-South, West-to-East (end-to-end) family trip with 2 kids. Exceptional hospitality, location, view, villa with private pool, etc. A must stay in Namibia for all serious travelers!!!

The hosts Tjaard and Karin are very kind and pleased to serve. We stayed at the Mountain View Villa with all the comfort needed (like Braii/Fireplace, pool) plus a view upon a waterhole were we could observe giraffes, gnus and oryx and a beautiful sky full of stars. They served us a private, very delicious breakfast and dinner in the villa. Beside the villa there are chalets with self or full service and camp sites.

"The best place in Namibia"

Mountain View Villa is part of „at Kronenhof“, an enormous farm in midden of the beautiful mountains. The newly built buildings are devided in 3 parts: camping with luxurious houses, couple and family houses at the mountains surrounding the main building with all that you need to spend the day there - Bibliothek and bar, playground and chess outside, swimming pool and relaxing aeria - and the unbelievably mountain view villa on top of the hills, 2.5 km around. We spend the first week of January there with 2 granny’s (85 and 89) and 3 kids (10-12). We loved the calm place to watch Giraffes, Kudus, Gnus and Antilopes at the waterhole and having awesome meals (also thanks to everyone). We will definitely come back.

Die Mountain View Villa ist der Kronenhoflodge zugehörig, sie liegt etwa 2-3 km entfernt auf einer Anhöhe mit einer unfassbar schönen Aussicht auf die umliegende Landschaft. Wir, 2 Freunde, hatten einen von 4 Bungalows gemietet mit einem riesigen Kingsize Bett. Charlt der Besitzer der Lodge machte uns ein kostenloses Upgrade, sodass jeder von uns seinen eigenen Bungalow hatte. Das Personal machte uns auf einen defekten Reifen aufmerksam, der sofort repariert wurde, auch das ging auf das Haus.

It was very nice decorated and you could take a break from all the ruff driving in Namibia.
