The property itself was tidy, comfortable, and good value for what we initially paid. It had everything we needed for a short stay

What we didn’t like was mainly the experience at check-in. We were asked to pay an extra $50 for our 3-year-old toddler, which came as a complete surprise. This wasn’t clearly mentioned at the time of booking, so it felt a bit unfair to be hit with an extra charge right at the counter. When I tried to question it, the response we got wasn’t very helpful. Instead of explaining things properly or trying to sort it out, we were told that we could cancel the booking if we didn’t agree. After arriving and already planning to stay, that put us in a really awkward position. It also felt like the communication around their child policy wasn’t clear at all. If they charge per person regardless of age, that should be made very obvious upfront so guests know exactly what to expect. Being told this only at check-in isn’t ideal and takes away from the overall experience. So while the property itself was fine, the lack of clear information and the way the situation was handled left us quite disappointed.
