We felt very welcome instantly because of the friendliness of the … family. We visited for the Austrian Formula 1 Grand Prix in weekend Spielberg, dinner and breakfast times were changed to accommodate the early mornings and later returns in the evening from the track. The location of the hotel is beautiful and really brings your mind to rest after a long day of activities. We loved our stay and would 100% recommend coming back and not just for the Grand Prix ;).

One of two routes going toward the property is an unpaved mountain road which has some tight turn without railings. The other route is completely paved and also connected to the motorway,and you get a heads-up a few days prior to your stay they inform you of the two different routes you can take which is very convenient (this is not a negative comment just a warning to future visitors incase they don’t like driving on gravel road 🙂)

Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen waren hervorragend. Es gab frisches Brot (auch am Sonntag) und es war alles vorhanden, was das Herz begehrt. Schinken, Käse, Speck, frische Früchte, Kaffee, Tee usw. Wer da nichts findet ist wirklich heikel. Das Abendessen war ebenfalls ausgezeichnet. Die Karte ist abwechslungsreich und die Portionen groß. Es gibt lokale "Schmankerl" sowie internationale Küche. Manchmal gibt es auch Spezialitätenabende.

Es hat uns alles soweit gefallen. Das einzige "Hindernis" ist die Schotterstraße auf den Paß, wenn man nach Zeltweg bzw. zum Spielbergring kommen möchte. Für uns kein Problem - in der Beschreibung war es aber nicht enthalten. Schlechte Autofahrer könnten damit ein Problem haben obwohl es ein tolles Erlebnis ist - sowohl das Tal vor dem Berg als auch danach.
