Hotel Haus Martens

The hotel is in a very nice area in a quiet residential street. It's quite central, only two U Bahn stops from the main station. The room was huge and beautifully clean as was the whole hotel. The breakfast was fine - the home made jams were amazing but overall maybe not as much choice as in some hotels, but it was more than adequate and filling. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in Hannover.

I struggled to get into the hotel which uses an entry code (fine) and a secure key box that requires a code (not so fine). I had noted down the key code when I received the email from the hotel but didn't realise that I'd been sent a further email with a completely different code. Fortunately a member of staff came just as I was struggling and helped me get my key. So keep an eye open for more than one email about the key code when you book!

Good location in the List quarter, close to Lister Meile and the woods/ Biergarten. Quiet side street and near the U-Bahn. Friendly and helpful staff.
