Son Grua Agroturismo - Adults only

I was personally awestruck by the beauty of the hotel. It's a real sanctuary nestled in the mountains between Lluc and Pollença. The views from our bedroom overlooked the neighbouring mountains and stunning pool gardens. The hotel food was outstanding and served alfresco on the terrace. Nicholas was very welcoming, accommodating, and informative about the local area. Thank you for such a special stay celebrating our Engagement.

Everything was tremendous

The location is spellbinding; it feels as though you’re completely secluded from all outside noise. Nicolas is a great host, very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the dinners also.

The breakfast is à la carte and served rather slowly, which forces you to slow down ;)

Absolutely perfect - I will keep with me the peace I absorbed here to counter many busy days ahead. Nicolás and all the staff were so kind and helpful, and the hotel was fantastic with so much attention to detail. The building itself has so much history in every corner, it's very grand and beautiful with little nooks and places to relax in, the views of the mountains are breathtaking and nature is all around - beautiful flowers and trees and all you hear are birds and bees and the odd sheep/goat. The location is ideal if you like hiking, close to wonderful trails and excursions. The dinners here were also fantastic. 10/10.

This was by far the most special, authentic, and historic resort we stayed in among the four excellent resorts we visited in Mallorca. The highly scenic mountain property has belonged to the same family for hundreds of years and there is a real feeling of ownership, heritage, and quiet elegance. A number of landscape oil paintings displayed inside were done by a family member in the first half of the 1900s when the property was partly used as a retreat for artists. The hotel employs a professional chef; meals were excellent and featured Mallorcan cuisine. On our second night, dinner was served outdoors beneath the trees and stars where a white-coated waiter circled quietly among the widely spaced tables lit up by candlelight. Breakfast too was served outdoors on a stone veranda with a view of the mountains. The hosts were accommodating and kind and arranged a private tour for our family of five to a local winery. Son Grua is a gem. Don't miss it.

Beautiful setting and grounds. Fantastic and kind service. Very quiet, intimate, relaxing atmosphere. Exceptional dinner setting and service, lovely pool area. Nicolas and his family make you feel like a part of theirs.

No complaints

location is fabulous, views good, pool area amazing, staff all incredibly attentive when you need them and invisible when you don’t! Barely saw any other guests either except at breakfast. Like having the place to yourselves. A la carte breakfast really good, like a buffet without having to get up. Lots of options. Dinner menu interesting mix of local and other. Wine choices good with great recommendations from the waiter. Walking trails straight from the door. Dedicated bike room with tools and storage, locked at night. Very convenient for Pollença if you want a more lively dining experience. 5k walk or drive.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like but it is worth noting that the approach road is a gravel one and if you had a very low car it might prove a challenge as it’s pretty bumpy. Also note that road bike tyres might have a hard time but we just put bikes in the car boot and drove to the road where you can park ok and ride on from there.
