Really nice owners and right on the beach within walking distance to surf. Also great food for good price

De locatie is fantastisch. Midden tussen de locals. Ver weg van het hippe en toeristische el Tunco. Het eten is echt geweldig

De honden die ze daar hebben vond ik doodeng en in de avond vielen ze je ook echt grommend aan.

The place in overall is lovely, right on the beach, just few minutes from the main road to take buses, lot of restaurants around you can surf right in front of the hostel.

When we booked our stay there was no picture included of our room which was a tent on the corridor but it was okay Our problem was that when we rented a surf board they take your passport and threatening you with a 500 dollar damage waiver. When we brought back the board they tried to scam us for a small tear for 40 dollars we got it repaired in the other village for 15 dollars probably even less for locals. At other places on this beach we could rent boards without any issues. The owner is really nice but the staff is unfortunately really unfriendly, we often had to wait an hour for our breakfast.

La personne qui m’a accueillie ainsi que la cuisinière sont très serviable. La nourriture proposée est bonne et à petit prix et les dortoirs ainsi et les sanitaires sont propres. La vue sur mer est très agréable mais attention si vous voulez vous baigner, les rochers se font emporter avec les vagues et peuvent vous blesser.

Une des personnes qui travaille là est un homme bien misogyne qui se permet de frapper leur chien (le chien en question est sur la photo, vous verrez par vous même que c’est un amour). J’ai d’abord pensé que ça pouvait être un client et je lui ai demandé pourquoi il frappait le chien et il m’a répondu de me mêler de mes affaires et que je jugeais sans savoir (comme s’il y avait des raisons valables pour frapper un animal). Il m’a ensuite pris de haut, m’a donné une excuse bidon et m’a dit « c’est bon t’as compris ? » avec un air condescendant. S’il se permet tant de violence devant les clients, je n’ose pas imaginer comment il est lorsqu’il n’y a personne. Il m’a mise très mal à l’aise mais heureusement, c’était mon dernier jour.

Es como estar alojados en casa de un familiar. Muy acogedores y amables, Hasta nos hiciwrom un regalo de despedida. Vives dentro del mar por unos dias, un paraiso. Recomendable al 100% voveremos

Não ter espaço para cozinhar ou fazer algo simples como aquecer um café ou por coisas no frigorífico As comidas e bebidas servidas eram muito caras Não havia muito cuidado com limpeza O espaço era de restaurante no piso de baixo então não havia muita privacidade no Hostal

Not a negative on Pelicanos at all, just a heads up that there are mosquitos at night so bring repellent!

Rolling out of bed for a surf check right out front was the best! This is super basic and rustic, but has everything you need. The family is wonderful, friendly and accommodating.
