Pension Lavendel

It was a pleasure to stay at a place with such wonderful hosts - after already being over a week on the road, this was a highlight between the soulless hotels and subpar motels I visited! Just the right mix between classic and modern. Breakfast was simple and very tasty, the former being a good thing - no need for tons of food to go to waste! I hope to see you again next year!

Sehr sehr nette Gastgeber. Anreise und das einchecken waren unkompliziert. Alles wurde uns gezeigt und erklärt. Die Pension bietet alles was man für ein Wochenende benötigt.

Leider sehr hellhörig und bei offenem Fenster war die Bundesstraße sehr deutlich zu hören.

There was a fully equipped kitchen at the story. I appreciate very much small fridge in the room. Also parking at the house was very convenient.

There was no open restaurant nearby and as it was a holiday (Pfingsten / whitsun) the supermarkets were closed too. But that is not a fault of the accommodation :) and town of Nordhausen is not so far.

The place is easy to find (by car). Personnel very kind !! Room very clean, sufficiently nice. The Pension does not include breakfest, but you can buy breakfest very near (next door).

Our suite (having two rooms) had several steps inside (in the floor) which we found quite dangerous in the dark. The mattresses were a little too soft for us. We do not like the traditional large quadratic and heavy pillows (they seem quite useless to us).

Very nice place. I stayed only for one night, but I would have happily stayed longer. The single room is quite spacious, clean, has everything you need, the bed is quite comfortable. Despite the fact that the pension is located right next to the road, you can’t hear any noise in the room. I was especially surprised by the abundance of sockets in the room)) Nice inner courtyard, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or sit in the evening in a pleasant atmosphere. There is a common kitchen where you can cook food, have a cup of coffee or tea. Quite a large parking lot behind the pension I really liked this place, if I ever come to these parts again, I will definitely stay here.

The bathroom is a bit narrow, especially considering that I am a bit of a big boy))
