Blue Beds Hostel

Excellent stay, specially for solo travelers. Very clean, and staff behavior is amazing. Bonus, the area where the stay is situated is very accessible and peaceful

The staff at Blue Beds are so professional, helpful, dedicated and sweet. Also, I have NEVER stayed at a cleaner place! The floors are mopped multiple times per day and bed sheets changed regularly. I stayed here for over two weeks while I took private Hindi lessons at a local institute. As a 66 year old female traveler, I felt completely safe and welcome here. After a few days I felt like I was part of the family! One of the best assets of this hostel is Kriti, the only female staff member. She is warm, outgoing, funny, helpful, smart, and no nonsense. Her presence really makes this hostel great, especially for female travelers. The other aspect of the hostel I enjoyed were the other guests. I saw a number come and go during my time there, and most, though younger than me, were very interesting people. In addition to a few foreign tourists, many young Indian professionals and entrepreneurs come through. The third strong point in favor of Blue Beds is its location. While still within an easy tuktuk ride to Jaipur’s historic center, it’s in a quiet neighborhood where one can have a peaceful morning and evening stroll. The large beautiful Central Park with several kilometers of walking paths is also nearby. Lastly, there are many nice cafes and small eateries nearby. When I come back to Jaipur I will definitely stay here again!

The common room is a relatively small area with no windows to the outside. The hostel could really benefit from a rooftop terrace open space for relaxing on.

Cleanliness from beds to restroom and common area. They use blue soap/powder to maintain the toilet bowls white. And everywhere you go, it smells fresh, or lemon. Dorms have multiple lights, mirrors, restroom and shower room are separate. Staffs are helpful, and respectful. Property is good if you're working remotely. WiFi every level. AC in dorm and common area. Common area looks like a work cafe. You can do laundry here or send your clothes through their reception. Food is ok, but the fact that they serve eggs is 🫶🏼⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for me There's a nearby gym and shopping mall (few steps away) Kitchen receives order by scanning the qr on the table. Very comfy beds and towels. There's also reading light and socket on the bedside.

I think they need to be more strict in filtering those they allow to stay in the hostel to preserve the vibe. Note that there's no privacy curtains across the beds. They offer private lockers with separate pay. You can opt for it you don't like to. Reception is 1 level above the ground floor. There's no lift. My room is right in front of the reception. Noise from phone calls sometimes reach within the dorm.

The staff were great, really clean, very comfortable beds.

The ladies dorm was far too small for 6 women. Also if you took up any room at all or touched another persons things accidentally you would get yelled at (not by staff - by other people staying). This is not the fault of the hostel, but with not enough space tensions can start. I ended up leaving two days earlier to go to a more spacious dorm at a different hostel.

Breakfast was good and tasty!

Nothing really ! It was only noisy because of the cricket , fire works and much excitement , fair enough because India are brilliant at cricket and won the game .
