The Old Bakery Hotel

What a lovely place to stay ! Old Kenilworth is picturesque and quiet. Staff were freindly and attentive. Really enjoyed our stay! Room not the biggest but clean and fully equipped.

What a fantastic B&B for a short stay in Kenilworth! Located in the old part of town, it's a short walk to get to all the main attractions that Kenilworth has to offer - a visit to Kenilworth Castle is a must! There is a small car park to the rear of the property, however there are spaces on the high street if it's full (a free parking permit is available from the B&B if required). The property is very well presented and has a wonderful bar/cafe where you have breakfast (Freshly prepared not a buffet) and can have afternoon/evening drinks - we sampled a couple of their Whiskies :-) We had a double room that was immaculate, with fresh towels, and complimentary toiletries. There was coffee and tea making facilities plus biscuits! Also there was ample storage for clothes and a powerful shower. Our only gripe with the room we had was a lack of hooks in the bathroom to hang our toiletry bags - but we are being really picky here! The staff were very friendly and attentative and seemed to enjoy their jobs which is always a good sign! Overall highly recommended!

Lovely cosy hotel with great staff

The Old Bakery was clean and welcoming. We were disappointed with the breakfast, no fruit, yogurt or jams with Covid being the 'excuse'.

The main areas of the hotel are quirky but attractive. The room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet as well, just a little dated in decor and furniture. Bed, pillows and towel good though.

We only stayed at The Old Bakery for 1 night, but I wish it had been for longer. Its a fabulous hotel. You enter through a tiny pub, so quaint and its kept all the old features of the building. We were in room 5, it has an ENORMOUS bed! The size of 2 doubles! Lovely clean soft white sheets, a nice firm mattress which was soooooo comfortable. The room is SPOTLESSLY Clean, as is the bathroom. Complimentary small bottles of shampoo, shower gel, a vanity box with 3 cotton balls, some Qtips, and a tiny nal file, even a toothbrush. In the room there are sachets of coffee bags, tea bags and hot chocolate with plenty of milk and 2 lots of biscuits. Also 2 bottles of cold still water in glass bottles are left on your bedside cabinets. I thought these little touches were really nice. It was extremely quiet, you couldn't hear the pub at all so don't worry about being kept up all night by revellers, tbh kennilworth is not that sort of place anyway. Breakfast was very good. A choice of cerials as usual but pots of coffee & tea so you can refill and lovely bowels of fresh fruit, blueberry and pears, then another choice I can't remember, sorry. But good quality. These go with sweet glass pots of yogurt. We had delicious local sausage with scrambled egg, etc. The decor and atmosphere of the whole establishment is very pleasant as are the lovely couple who served us in the morning, he is the chef and his wife. All in all we will definitely be back and highly recommended The Old Bakery.

It's a fine hotel - but wont' supply a VAT receipt as I'm a business is a 20% loss

Very handy for an overnight stay in Kenilworth. Parking round the back was great (and free). Room was perfectly clean and a decent size. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was nice in the morning.The old bakery itself is a nice little pub so you can stay in for a drink and some food in the evening if you wanted to as well.

Great place, good bar, cosy and family run hotel. Good selection of gins in bar! Parking behind property Small But perfectly comfortable single Room with good shower and en-suite. Breakfast okay Will stay again.
