"Very good"

The atmosphere of the apartment is special and very 'Budapest like', spacious clean and comfortable beds. Location is very easy and reachable, its a lively neighbourhood. The information from the staff was good and quick. The kitchen has everything you need.

Some things are broken and should be fixed (no handle on the dishwasher door, one of the roller shutters from the windows in the living room is stuck and permanently down). Its a pity there is no option for a late check-out.

"Central, loud, cosy, warm and spacious"

8.0

Location is very central and close to everything. Please keep in mind that it is not that quiet (but you can close the windows to the street and use either air con or the window to the yard to get fresh air). The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable, although you would not expect it from the first try. The sofa is just ok. Not all pillows are comfortable. The flat is very warm (even too warm at +10 outside if do not turn the heating off). The kitchen is large enough and very well equipped, all sorts of plates, cups, glasses, etc.) Dishwasher was helpful + there was enough tabs for it and everything. The apartment is very cosy and super clean. The building looks nice and well maintaned. Overall we felt there like at home from the very start. The owner is nice to communicate with and not disturbing at all (you do not have it always with the apartments). So we'll be happy to come over again. Local recommendations: try coffee and flodni at Edison (and not espresso embassy, we cannot figure it out why it is so popular, their coffee does not taste good), cakes at Gerbeaud, strudel at Strudel House, breakfast at Pöttyös Bögre Bisztró, artisan bread and croissants at Arán Bakery Budapest, lunch/ dinner at Vigvarju, gulyash at Tati. Better to avoid Hot stone and Marty’s Local Kitchen & Bar (massively overpriced for nothing remarkable) We have tried several baths: - Lukacs wins for the thermal water, wave pool, reasonable cafe inside and best value for the price - Rudas is the second for the "strong" thermal water, understandable navigation inside and the pool 42C, but the price is almost double high - Széchenyi-Heilbad is waaay lower for the crowds and the price yet not that much comfort, but wave pool is fun even for teens and the herbal sauna is the gem - Gellert is just beautiful and that is it

you should be ready to the constant noise here, which is mostly as white noise but sometimes disturbs your sleep
