Muchshima House

Lovely place and great people, they offered me dinner two nights, really yummm!

My room had only one window facing a corridor, so I didn't get fresh air because then evryone could see my room from the corridor. True, the last room of the corridor, so not a lot of people went there, but yeah, that was a little inconvenient, everything else was perfect, they helped me organize the taxi to the airport and they were always very friendly! Oh, they helped me put on the washing machine :)

The people !

Golf & Doon & staff were very friendly & helpful. Everywhere was clean & comfortable. I had a double room with a balcony, (superior room I think). Air con was excellent & most comfortable bed I had all trip! Big fridge, kettle etc. The pool is tiny but I enjoyed cooling off in it! Golf will cook a tasty Thai evening meal if you ask in the morning. Beer,wine, soft drinks & water available to buy onsite. 7/11 is 3-4 minute walk, (No alcohol for sale there as it's a predominantly Muslim neighbourhood). Surin beach, which was lovely is a 25 minute walk. Bangtao beach is around 45 min walk. They hire mopeds at the hotel. Motorbike carts/tuk tuks/taxis are around; Surin beach to Muchmisma cost me 200 baht.

This place is quiet, clean, and the owners are amazing. They went above and beyond to make me feel at home. I will definitely stay here again.

The owners are very friendly and hospitable. They helped us with bike rental and even negotiated price on our behalf. Golf is an amazing chef, the food is definetely worth trying. Rooms are comfortable, very clean and in quiet neighbourhood. We had an amazing stay :)

Everything is was perfect as well as host hospitality. Golf, the owner, help us every time we were asking. As well daily fruits were amazing and tasty surprise for us

The owner was very very friendly. They help you with all. Was a quiet area. When you ask golf (owner) you can have breakfast. Thank you so much. They brought me to the bus station. You can rent a scooter there.

The duvet was a bad material, a thin sheet. No safe, no A/C in my room only fan, but it was not so warm in my room. Bed was a little bit hard but okay. I slept good.

Awesome place to stay! The hostel owner Golf is one hell of a mum, she looked after us and was very helpful. We even got a free room upgrade because it was quiet. Very comfortable and in a nice local area.
