Agriturismo Le Serre

The location of the place, and atmosphere was very nice. This is absolutely ideal place to visit with family. The kids on the first day already mentioned it as "home".

First of all the location is SPECTACULAR. A 15min drive from Cecina and the pine-wood beaches, on a hill you get an dream view of the Tuscan valleys, towns on hills and a very close to nature feeling and yet you can easily get to the highways (Pisa, Firenze, Siena, San Giminiano all within a 1,5h drive). You do have to use a car to get anywhere, but that's obvious when you choose an quiet isolated natural agriturismo. The hosts are fantastic, we felt very welcome and surely want to visit again! But for longer :) The farm has donkeys, pigs and chickens; olives, vegetables, fruit; cats and dogs roam around, you're surrounded by nature and it's great. Don Enrico has a great ecological approach, takes great care of them all. You can buy their great olive oil and other local products. And on top of that be sure to try a plate of their home-made cold cuts, better than any degustation you'll find! Our kids enjoyed the farm (got some lessons too!), a small playground and lots of board games, as well as the friendliness of the hosts. Our flat/house was very spacious, with a well equipped kitchen. It's rustical and very cozy, not very modern (no TV, bit lower water pressure), but again that's not what you should be looking for in such a scenery :) Everything works well, and if we ever needed any help, the hosts were quick to do so. Amazing stay, thank you!

The location is a hidden pearl. The apartmanets are modest and simple but there is a terrasse with an amazing view to the coast. The host was really helpful and he gave us a great tips for exploring the area. Very recommended place!
