Bella Menaggio Panoramica

Our family of 5 adults and a 17 year old stayed for 5 nights. The living/dining/kitchen area is very large. There are 3 bedrooms although two had low sloping ceilings where less than half the room allowed a person 5 feet tall to stand up. The washer was very useful. The best feature is a terrace with a table for 6. Each morning eating breakfast there provided for eastward views that were inspiring. There is an extensive array of kitchenware. Initially we were provided with only 3 rolls of toilet paper total. However, after a call to the office, we were provided with additional rolls the next day. If you want to hand wash dinnerware and utensils you’ll need to bring or buy liquid detergent. Detergent tablets were provided for the clothes washing machine.

We had no wi-fi for our 5 night stay. Numerous calls and in-person visits did not solve the issue. There is no air conditioning but we were provided with 4 fans. They sufficed for the bedrooms but the living/dining/kitchen area was not useable because the heat made us all sweat like being in a sauna. We did not look forward to returning to the lodging at the end of the day. However the terrace was used as an evening living space instead. Also be aware that reaching the lodging by foot will be very challenging dragging your suitcase uphill and having to negotiate many many steps, along the road and after you get through the gate to reach the 3rd floor lodging.

Clean on the whole but In need of general maintenance Broken bedroom external shutters,washing machine not always spinning properly Patio area needs a clean up & a new BBQ ( not really usable as not clean) Parking for only 1 small vehicle. Nearby parking not always available

Need a small car in order to use parking space. One set of keys did not work. On the day we left the gate would not open. The washing machine stopped working after it filled with water. The bedroom with the twin beds had stains in the carpet and the blinds were broken and falling off, The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and around the shower door. The first bedroom was so dusty we had to clean before we could put away cloths/incidentals There were sheets/mattress pads balled up in the bottom of the closet.. Some of the glasses in the kitchen were dirty and the wine glasses were plastic. The mat on the patio was all rotted and falling apart. Nice view.

Amazing view. Spacious apartment.

Located at #15 not #14 as advertised on L.Cardorna road, which means it is at the top of the hill/corner. So the apartment location in misleading which we told the agent and they said its only 100m to the real location lol. Very hard to walk to, especially with kids. Very dangerous. Bedroom #3 is in an attic with stained carpets - not very nice to sleep in. No curtains for windows so it does get very hot.
