Lushoto Executive Lodge

We enjoyed the open space and the cleanliness of it.

The area is very beautiful. A great garden. Spacious rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lodge is NOT in the village center, you need a ride to get there from the bus. Otherwise It's a 20-30 min walk, uphill. The Lodge is here: 04°47′49.99″S 38°18′10.82″E

Secluded within acres of lush green forest. The accommodation is approximately 10 minutes drive from the town center. It is definitely worth visiting especially if you love peace, nature and tranquility. It is a good place to go and relax because it has this environment of being fully immersed in nature. Staff will prepare food and generally assist you with requests. I found them exceptionally friendly and did their best for us and made us feel comfortable and at home. It also has a small gym and sauna, with various beauty treatments on offer although you might need to pay a bit extra for massages, etc. They will also help to arrange trips if you need to visit anywhere. From the town you can use a taxi or vehicle, preferably a 4x4 or the hotel will arrange if you contact them in advance. A boda boda can also take you for around 3000 tzs from town but if you have luggage, it's better using a vehicle. .

Good location, good settings and helpful staff (all but special mention of Mohammed Mustafa), Can be more fun with a bigger group (I.e. sitting around the fire at night).

Difficult to locate the hotel, limited toiletries, limited breakfast choices and mosquito in the room.

+ the staff was extremely friendly and helpful + the garden is beautiful; it is very big and beautifully designed + we got breakfast very early because we needed to catch a bus at 6am + room sizes are good + there is a bar

- we had two rooms. One was very nice, the other one should be renovated. - the walls are so thin that you can hear other guests laughing and talking and watching tv, etc. Bring your ear plugs. - wifi is not always working but we believed it’s because of the location (bad reception)
