Lushoto Executive Lodge

The surroundings are beautiful, the hotel is really into the nature, the view from the rooms and restaurant is amazing. The restaurant serves really good food and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a not in the center of Lushoto but really this was not a problem for me.

No heater in room so cold at night, slightly slow service. Couldn't access WiFi if router wasn't working, more steps to the rooms so difficult for the elderly

Beautiful scenery, well maintained garden, very comfortable, lovely staff.

Wifi

The shower was amazing, pressure was good and the mixer worked well rather than just being hot and cold as it often is in Tanzania! The grounds are beautiful and has so much potential Food tasted really good though took a while to arrive.

The location isn’t where booking says it’s is. I wanted somewhere in the town so I could get a bus early the next day and could I walk there. it’s actually 1.5km out of town up a large hill. WiFi - you have to ask for a mobile device. This only lasts as long as the battery so doesn’t last overnight, had to keep going back to reception to get a replacement and unfortunately they don’t charge the spare ones for when people need them so did have to wait for it to charge which isn’t great as they had 4 at reception all dead. The service is unpredictable, the first night called the restaurant and reception for 10 mins to order room service and get tv fixed. Ended up having to walk there expecting it to be busy but was empty. TV wasn’t fixed so had 2 channels, one other almost no picture and the others crackly sound so couldn’t use. Food service slow - took 1 hour 20 mins to get a curry despite an empty restaurant. Given the grounds and the building this could be an incredible hotel but the service is slow and at times seems that the staff can’t be bothered, decor is tired and for $45 a night isn’t justified.

Staff very friendly and helpful, nice rooms and good setting for our kid to play in.

Hard to find

The staff were very friendly and considerate. The food was good. They arranged twin beds upon request.

The flow of water in the shower and taps were too slow. Took ages to shower. Mobile network wasn’t accessible in the rooms. Wifi was provided however couldn’t even open google. Very less options for breakfast.

Nice cottage style building, nicely decorated. nice rooms. Also many facilities available.

Although personnel is nice and doing it utmost best, the waiting times for almost everything thing is too long. Especially for food.
