Novotel Annemasse Centre - Porte de Genève

I actually did not realize that this hotel is located in France rather than Switzerland until I noticed that my Swiss SIM card did not work. The hotel is new, modern and well furnished. The standard room is not big. The restaurant is good and very reasonably priced. It is right at the train station, from where it was about 20 minutes ride to Geneva. If you have Swiss Travel Pass, you need to buy an additional supplement fee for about 2euro one way to take the train.

Very convenient for the SNCF station and trains to Geneva including the airport. Room was very small and quite noisy.

The hotel is just opposite the train station. Breakfast is very good. The staff are very accommodating esp. Paula, Lizbeth, Maureen and Jen. Don't know the other young lady's name in reception. Will recommend as great proximity to explore some places in Switzerland and France but Annemasse is work in progress - nothing to see. Comfortable bed. Our room tidied up everyday. Aircon is off during our stay so we have to open the window all the time hence we would hear all the noise from the outside. Don't know what month the hotel's aircon would be turned on. Minor problems in the room solved right away but the shallow shower tray is a problem as we would always put towels to prevent the water sipping through the carpet. We were in room 618 overlooking parking lot.

Schönes Hotel, sauber mit sehr freundlichem Personal mit Top Englisch was in Frankreich nicht selbstverständlich ist. Leckeres Frühstück. Stylische moderne Zimmer. Alles seht sauber und nachhaltig was den Umweltschutz angeht. Parken vor der Tür ging nicht aber für Parkhaus gab es 30% Rabatt. Pro Nacht 12,-€ Parkgebühr ist ok. Restaurant unten war auch lecker, die Rooftop bar eher etwas ungemütlich/langweilig und ziemlich kühl von der Temperatur… Das Umfeld trotz Bahnhofsviertel top, nur leider ab 7.00 Uhr etwas laut…also nix für Langschläfer…

Je descends souvent à cet hôtel, et pour la première fois j’étais très déçu, j’ai ces journées plusieurs nuits ma chambre n’a pas été nettoyée, ils ne m’ont pas remis les bouteilles d’eau alors que j’avais une chambre supérieure pour quatre personnes. Le lit était très mal fait elle les draps n’était pas propre.
