Great location. Foot of goatfell and 6 min walk to corrie hotel for an evening meal out.

Very quiet secluded spot. Good linnens. Kitchen was well equiped. Shower was excellent . Very spacious and plenty of storage space, Well stocked Coop in Brodick.

It was difficult to find the entrance at first. Sofas in conservatory were very low and uncomfortable. Upstairs bathroom sink was so small it was difficult to brush our teeth. Upstairs bedroom windows were huge with no blinds or curtains. There are no shops in Corrie so had to travel to get groceries.

Het ontwerp van het gebouw is erg leuk, veel hoekjes met uitzicht en zon (lekker warm) De ligging is goed, redelijk centraal en toch rustig. Inchecken ging soepel, contact met de eigenaar booking.com.

Er zijn veel trapjes en hoekjes, dat is heel leuk maar het maakt het geheel wat onoverzichtelijk. Wel lekker ruim door de verschillende verdiepingen!

Kitchen was spacious and well equipped. Glass sunroom was lovely. Nice to be able to walk out of gate and have the sea immediately over the road.

Second bedroom is not up to the same standard as the rest of the property . It is very small and felt basic. It has a big window and no curtains!

Very well provisioned, spotlessly clean, great showers, and very comfortable beds. Conveniently located by bus stop. Will certainly stay again at this property!

Superb location overlooking the sea and only about a 7 minute drive into Brodick. Lovely garden and conservatory for when it rains.

Nothing

The location was just perfect. Corrie is such a beautiful village. Everywhere is so pristine and well maintained.

The only downside (and this isn't a criticism of the property) is that we never managed to see much of the "Big 5". We did see a few red squirrels and a couple of deer/stags (near Lochranza) but unfortunately no otters, seals, porpoise/dolphins, or golden eagles. Maybe we were just unlucky. But this didn't detract from our love of the island's beauty.

Eastkirk is a magnificent property that I would highly recommend. The only possible downside is that, as it is an old church building, the floorboards (especially the upstairs area) creak a lot when people walk over them. Not a problem during the day but you do become aware of it at night when folk sleeping upstairs move about.
