Paz Cottage

The check out time was not indicated on the booking and we received an email from the Host which was not pleasant for checking out after 10am.

Location and cleanliness

Comfort of the bed in main bedroom. Lack of information on activities. Our booking did not specify checkout time. The host was angry with us for that

The location of Paz was wonderful - with incredible views and very peaceful. Patrick, the member of staff was so helpful (he showed us a very pretty waterfall near the lodge and helped us out) The lodge was very comfortable. A really enjoyable stay. (but don't forget to take enough food for your stay!)

Nothing to do with the lodge, but it is located few km off the tarmac road and the track to the lodge could be a challenge to use after rain.

Beautiful location with stunning views. Clean and comfortable beds. Awesome fire place. Back up solar. Wish we could have stayed longer. Patrick was very helpful.

The road to the cottage is not great, however, we managed to get there in a normal vehicle, just need to travel slowly for 6km. Definitely in need of a second toilet.

Gorgeous view, nice interior. Photos don't do it justice. Beautiful waterfall and nice hiking trails. Patrick was great!

Bumpy road they but worth it in the end.

We had the whole cottage to ourselves, and the host was kind and caring. Fire was made at the fireplace as well as outside for a braai. Great hospitality.

There was no electricity for the most our stay at the cottage. We could not charge our phones or have hot water for the shower. The shower pressure is too low.
