USIt felt very authentic and real. I loved the receptionist, she was so nice. They all provide free shuttles to snow monkey park and it is in the perfect location to try out all the onsens.
SEThis was a wonderful ryokan and the hosts offered exceptional hospitality. We had a lovely dinner (sukiyaki) which was prepared with much care and finess. The private onsen was also a very pleasant experience, and the room was clean and comfortable. Location wise it is close to the snow monkey park (just a short ride by bus or a beautiful 30 min hike by foot) and a few meters to all public onsens.

JPEverything are wonderful
The staff was very courteous and welcoming, and when I needed to leave my bag someplace on my check out morning, they brought it to a convenient pick up point by the station. This made my day very easy to manage!
