The rooms were super clean and comfortable. The breakfast was abundant and very delicious. The property was quiet and yet near the business district within walking distance.

The parking was a difficult problem

Location is fantastic. Breakfast is delicious, although it would be nice to have some cereal/muesli options. The breakfast serving staff were really great. The building is very pretty.

The reception staff were rude and unhelpful on our arrival. The room was advertised as having 2 bedrooms but it was not clear that the second bedroom was only accessible through the first. We would not have chosen this if we had known. The 'rules' were very strictly written and we were told again at reception - don't leave any dishes in the dishwasher (even clean), empty the bins, etc, as if it was a campsite rather than a guesthouse. It felt as if we were being corrected/told off before we even settled in. We would never have left a messy room but this was unnecessarily draconian. Also the room was very dirty and dusty under the beds and in the cupboards, and the toilet was stained.
