清潔感のある素敵な場所でした。朝食の焼きたてパン、ありがとうございました。また行きたいと思います。

The hosts were very kind and flexible with our needs. The breakfast and “living space” area was also a highlight. They prepared freshly made bread every morning and they had a great collection of books to look at.

It was slightly far from the area with many restaurants but not a problem if you have a car rental.

최고의 호스트입니다. 영어로도 충분히 소통가능합니다. 아침식사는 푸짐하진 않았지만 맛있는 서양식입니다. 호스트께서 맛집도 디테일하게 추천해 주시고 예약도 해 주셨어요. 주변에 식당이 많치 않아 예약이 필수입니다.

가성비가 살짝 아쉬워요.

子連れで3泊させていただきましたが、 おしゃれで清潔でゆっくり過ごせました。 オーナーさんが優しかったです！ 朝食の焼き立てパンや卵やフルーツも最高😊

Certainly a nice space, simple and carefully curated interior

The price did not seem fair. I was charged almost 140€ for one night (1 person). Given this price, I would have expected oceanfront and high-end beds. Instead, bed and pillow were quite hard (I used my own travel pillow), was not able to close off all light in the room. The architecture seemed odd: the bed seemed like an afterthought since it was placed in the corner (had I been a couple one person would have been challenge to get out of the bed at night due to the wall) and it was next to the entry space, ie dirty shoes, etc. the lounge chairs are positioned so the view is to your side (you have to rotate your head uncomfortably) and you look directly onto the bathroom. The “porch” is small and wall to wall with the neighbour. The roof is short, so it will be wet when it rains (it rains a lot in Yakushima) I found a beautiful cottage with a comfortable bed and large patio all to myself just around the corner and paid half the price. Much, much fairer deal.
