AUWe had a fantastic stay at the Kiwi Bach—it was ideal for our family group. The scenery around Lake Tekapo is absolutely stunning, and honestly, there’s not a bad view anywhere. The location was excellent, and the room was warm and comfortable, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, a beautiful place to stay and we’d definitely come back again.
The only small improvement would be adding a few basic kitchen essentials like salt and pepper, paper towels, aluminium foil, and a drying rack.

NZAUExcellent location. Rooms were comfortable, well equipped and clean. A little disappointed that the cabin had a restricted view when it read like all cabins had a view. Very expensive for two nights but it was a long weekend.

AULovely stay visiting through Lake Tekapo. Facilities were right next to our cabin, and plenty of availability. Site felt safe and only a short drive into the main area of town. Friendly staff who explained everything well when we arrived. View from our cabin was great, with loads of space to enjoy the view (and some jumping rabbits).

AUIt's all about the location on the shores of the lake. We got the last cabin available which had no ensuite, so had to use the shared amenities a short walk away. Beautiful views of the lake and plenty of places to picnic. A footpath goes right into town, about a 20 min walk.
One of our beds was unmade, just a pile of sheets with instructions on how to make it. All crockery and cutlery is kept in the rooms and was not very clean. The cabin was tiny and extremely over priced. No water in the rooms so we had to walk down to the kitchen to fill a cup. I'm sure they could afford to put a bottle of water in each room.
