Goodstay Apartments by Urban Space

Only the weather and Goodsheds being closed.

It was nice, spacious and really modern. Water pressure good, depending on how long you stay a cleaner comes to clean and change sheets and towels.

The heating is too small for the space

Lovely modern apartment (Hampton No. 2), beautifully clean, had everything we needed, parking space very close by, heating excellent - easy to control, plenty of space, helpful kitchen pack (washing liquids dishwasher tablets, cloths), very good location for sightseeing, shopping and food/drink.

Beds both had separate single mattresses, unfortunately the right hand side mattresses on both beds were horrendous - the springs were almost coming through - every time you moved in the bed they clunked and were so uncomfortable that my poor husband hardly slept at all, the two nights we were there. He tried laying 3 bath towels under the bed sheet, but it didn’t help. Also, great that we were provided with a black bin bag for rubbish and instructions were given as to where to put it, but no mention of what to do with the recycling? No details given for how to access the car park - or where it was, but I phoned customer services and the young lady was very helpful.

Nice clean space, plenty of amenities. comfortable bed and all in a good location. Some hot drink facilities there and plenty of kitchen equipment for self catering. Deffo a space I'd use again in future.

No negatives for me during this stay.

Seemed to be a lot of dust in the apartment The noise from the radiator in the en-suite room kept my wide awake. We needed it on because of the cold weather !

The space was very well equipped and nicely laid out. Very spacious and clean.

The mattress in one of the bedrooms was very uncomfortable. We think the springs had gone.

Really lovely apartment, perfect for a couple. So clean and modern but also homely too. The staff at Urban Space were so helpful and polite, which made everything so much easier. The location is lovely, lots of cute shops, bars and restaurants around with the locals being so friendly too! Couldn’t recommend enough, will definitely be going back.

Get set up with keys left in box for when you arrive. Spacious and clean with all you need in it. We have family in Barry so will be back to these apartments regularly and recommend to other family members
