Nothing really but no milk or creamer for coffee. But we asked and they delivered

Location was peaceful and tranquil. A short walk to the beach for dinner. A trip to Sekumpul waterfall was spectacular

Overall, our stay at Coco Garden Villa no. 4 was pleasant, thanks to the attentive care provided by D'Dek, who was always ready to assist. Amazing breakfast preparred and delivered to villa any time requested. There is a nice restaurant about 10 minutes walk from the Villa called "Warung Pesisi". I absolutely recommend it! Local people are very friendly, always saying 'hello' when bypassing.

However, while my family typically enjoys secluded settings, we encountered several drawbacks: - The villa is situated in an extremely isolated location devoid of any tourist infrastructure. Throughout our 10-night stay, we did not encounter a single tourist in the area. - There was noticeable mold and dampness around the villa, particularly on the wooden flooring surrounding the pool and in the garden. This not only detracted from the aesthetic appeal but also posed a safety hazard for children due to exposed screws. - Unpleasant smell coming from the AC, felt like cigarrette smoke. - The lighting both inside the bedrooms and outside was inadequate, creating an uncomfortable ambiance at night. - Trash removal and garden/pool cleaning should be conducted more frequently. - Villa 4 lacks an indoor living area, which proved inconvenient, especially in the evenings with a 2-year-old child. Despite our preference for remote locations, the surroundings outside the villa failed to evoke a sense of tranquility or beauty. Having explored Bali extensively, I feel confident in stating that for a similar price, one could secure a superior villa in a more desirable remote location.

Private villa experience behind high walls, nice pool with water fountain. Each airconditioned bedroom has large, teak 4 poster beds with a firm and very comfortable mattress. Kitchenette has all the necessary basic equipment, supplemented by an excellent butler service.

Living area has everything you need, but is a bit basic. The property is surrounded by secondary jungle plus a small farm just across a stream, so the sounds, smells and creatures from both these can be apparent, depending on how much rain is about. Lastly, the dine-in food orders were a bit limited with only entry-level quality... but at least freshly cooked and delivered to your villa. If looking for dining out alternatives, don't bother with the (not related) Mermaid Museum restaurant nearby, its food is overpriced and disappointing.
