"Not what I was looking for, but exactly what I needed"

The B&B has character and the pancake breakfast was exceptionally good. Loved the front porch for coffee. Stayed in the upper apartment and it was exactly as advertised. The owner is a very pleasant person who goes out of her way to make one feel at home. Very walkable and several nearby food options. Parking was adequate even for my truck.

This beautiful quaint old-world Inn is a true gem. Our host was wonderful, warm, helpful and, best of all, a fantastic cook; best breakfast I have had in years. The property was clean, charming and the perfect spot to truly relax and go back to a friendlier and kinder time. Do yourself a favor and skip the big hotels and stay here, you won't be disappointed!

Breakfast was great. Bed quite comfortable and we were made quite welcome through our stay. Wonderful location to explore an interesting town. There were a couple of misrepresentations. Advertised Air conditioning in Bedroom. There was none. Advertised a large king bed and large twin bed. There was no twin bed. Instead a fold out sofa. Roku did not interact with server, so no TV as advertised. We were quite comfortable, just a bit putt off by the stated disconnects

If you are planning a trip to the Barre or Montpelier area of Vermont, stay at Maplecroft Bed & Breakfast. Wonderful breakfasts, thoughtful amenities, comfortable bed (the pillows) all in a Victorian home complete with a Tower Room.
