Stunning location in the heart of the village. The building itself was charming with excellent facilities. Perfect for a relaxing stay.

Beautiful location and excellent facilities

The booking mentioned a welcome pack of coffee and tea but didn't see one?

Simple but adequate and centrally located in the village for a few days break. Instructions to find and local info was useful. The apartment seemed clean, with a bath (with shower over) and ample hot water, and the electric heaters are quick and effective. Bus stop nearby with regular service to Penzance and Newlyn. Good pub and some other nice places to eat in Mousehole.

Various maintenance attention is needed: Several of the double glazed windows have "blown" so are permanently condensated and the slit ventilators are also missing from the windows so allowing cold draughts in. The blinds on the Velux windows above the top floor sitting room are ripped, unsightly and in need of removal or replacement, in fact the Velux needs to be swivelled open and thoroughly cleaned. The shower curtain rail is rusty. The pillows and mattress feel cheap. The outside PIR light did not work, (luckily the neighbouring one across the alleyway did).

Limited sound insulation in the property so noise was audible from next door. Generally this didn't matter as all went quiet after about 10 pm. Unfortunately, the neighbour seemed to be doing DIY or cleaning until gone midnight on the final night!

Great location comfortable great furnishings

The location was ideal. Right in the center of the village Large spacious rooms with plenty of cupboard space in the bedroom Upstairs kitchen and loungs was spacious and well kitted out including a washing machine and clothes airing rack.

Parking was away from the property and nowhere close by to unload due to the very narrow streets. Park early as after 18:00 there are no spaces left
