Hotel am Wasserfall

De locatie was goed voor ons doel van de reis. Het ontbijtbuffet was erg goed van kwaliteit en heel veel keus. De kamer lag aan het begin van de gang, dus niet ver lopen. Twee goede stoelen om in te zitten en een bureautje en laag tafeltje. De badkamer was erg ruim.

Zodra je het licht aan doet in de badkamer, begint de ventilator te gieren. Het geluid bleef lang doorgaan nadat het licht uit was. De kamer was klein, bijna geen ruimte om om het bed heen te lopen. Ondanks de naam nergens een waterval te zien.

Tolles Hotel mit sehr gutem Restaurant. Große Zimmer.Freundliches Personal und Hunde sind willkommen, nicht nur geduldet . Sehr gutes Frühstück. Das Aussengelände ist sehr sehr schön zum entspannen.

Nice big countryside hotel in a beautiful peaceful location (if you ignore decommissioned power station nearby). Just near to the river weir with nice areas to walk or run alongside the canal. Large parking lot but still difficult to find empty space on the first day of my stay. Second day no problem. Hotel frequently used by groups for days away and meetings occasion. Large spa area, big space but not much to do. Gym is one bike, one cross trainer and one treadmill, plus small dumbbells. Small swimming pool but I found water to be quite cold. One sauna (good). Shower and many changing and relaxing areas. That’s it. No drinking water. Restaurant was very good. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast was very good. Big selection of cold foods but hot food was limited to bacon and eggs.

The gym is too small for this type of property. I would expect more gym equipment and drinking water in the gym / sauna area.
