Golf Hotel Sonne

The location is beautiful and for golfers it’s perfect. The golf course is very well maintained and looks a bit challenging. The golf shop looks well maintained. There’s a lovely patio for afternoon drinks and relaxing with friends. The rooms and restaurant were super clean . The restaurant serves very tasty meals. It’s easy to get away from the property for hiking and sightseeing .

If you don’t golf, it’s NOT for you. There aren’t any trails for strolls or hikes that you can access without driving somewhere else. The hotel itself is looking a bit shabby. It needs a thorough overhaul. Staff is super friendly but there weren’t enough of them. If you don’t golf, it’s overpriced.

This hotel was beautiful and the staff was excellent. They remembered our daughter by name and referred to as papa of xx and mama of xx — it was really cute. Clearly the draw of this hotel is golf but it’s a lovely and comfortable base of operations for non golfers too. The restaurant on site is so SO good. Even though our room was classified as non balcony, we we’re pleasantly surprised with a little private patio.

The place was beautiful. The staff was really helpful and nice. The breakfast was really good and the hotel restaurant amazing. The room was big and with a nice view.

Stunning resort in the middle of a Golf Club. Beautiful view, a bright room and a nice balcony

Some services are not up to the standard of the Resort. If you come back from a dinner at 10pm you park the car and you find the trail to the Resort completely dark. Without the torch of your smartphone you would have no chance to find the Resort. No mini bar in the room...also this is not up to the standard of the Resort.

Great views, great staff and very good breakfast. The room was clean and nice. Really nothing to complain about. Some reviews talk about the price, but everything in Siusi area is expensive due to the Alpe de Siusi and high demand. The only thing I would advise is to be aware this is a GOLF hotel so most people are there to golf. Also: there is no air conditioning so be aware that if forecast is for heat it is hot in the rooms. Our room faced the sun so when it was 85 degrees F (29 C) it was very hot in the room. The owners were wonderful in being accommodating and helpful so if you need anything while there just ask!!!

Lovely location, beautiful back drop! Very friendly staff and great facilities. My husband was very keen for the golf course. We enjoyed dinner on-site also, that was delicious.

Excellent location, very quiet, comfortable beds. Helmut and staff are amazing! they were very accommodating. Breakfast and dinners were outstanding! Views of Seiser Alm from hotel is unbelievable!

Refrigerator in room would be helpful.
