"Wonderful, excellent facilities and hostess but WiFi was not good."

Excellent location. Very clean and comfortable. Very fine furnishings. It is excellent and the best place I have stayed on the Camino. Bernadette was wonderful.

The WiFi is lacking. Everything else in this place is excellent and far above average. It seems like a simple fix to provide better WiFi. This is important to me because I need WiFi to conduct business while traveling. If WiFi is not important to you then this place is excellent.

"5-Star luxury on the Camino beach route"

I highly recommend this place. A splurge for most probably....very top drawer and special. We had the 2nd floor Terrace room. This type of luxury room 'right on the Camino path' is rare. The owners went all out to outfit the room to 5-star quality. A full-breakfast is included…and was great. A self/check-in room; WhatsApp is used as well as email to give you the codes. A Michelin Star restaurant is located on the 1st floor also. We had a wifi issue when we arrived and the owner and manager jumped on the problem. That’s always a sign to look for…owners who address issues when they come up. This place’s owner response time was stellar. Our luggage transport company delivered to this location, If it’s in your budget don’t miss the chance to book it.

"wonderful"

Bernadette is what makes this property so wonderful! She prepares wonderful and delicious breakfast. She is personable, polite and knows about all the happenings in the area. This was the second year at this place and we would return there again. The only negative thing about this property is the television as I realize at one time the huge wall screen was high tech but it is difficult to view.

The television needs to be replaced. please read the above notation. The wifi went off once but was soon rectified. Once again Bernadette orchestrated the recovery.

"Lovely stay before cutting across to the central Camino"

Excellent position and our host was very helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean - aircon was good as was breakfast.

Nothing to dislike. Vila do Conde is a lovely town to explore and on the Camino

"Great place to base yourself for day trips to Braga and Guimarães and coastal towns."

Great location and beautiful interior. Our fabulous room had a balcony overlooking the park and river. Lots of really good restaurants in the area. Staff were excellent and provided freshly cooked breakfast.
