Booked a Deluxe Room through Booking.com for 2 nights. After changing my dates, I was informed that the Deluxe Room was unavailable and had to pay an additional ₹1,200 for an Executive Room. Upon arrival, I also discovered that the hotel does not accept card payments, which would have been useful to know in advance. As a foreign traveler, the experience was disappointing. I was initially checked into Room 301, but the AC was not cooling properly. The staff member who came to inspect it kept insisting that the AC was working fine rather than addressing the issue. I was later informed that a technician would be sent, but instead I was moved to Room 101. Room 101 was noticeably smaller than Room 301, despite being described as the same Executive Room category. As a result, it felt like I paid an extra ₹1,200 for an Executive Room but was ultimately accommodated in a room that appeared to be of a lower category. On a positive note, the morning receptionist lady was polite, professional, and helpful. Apart from the room-related issues, the rest of the stay was ok.

Ambience was good with excellent view and staff was cooperative

There was no lift facility, which was a drawback.
