The location

really disappointed with this property. apart from the upstairs bathroom, the property is in a shoddy state, totally unloved. The conservatory furniture looked like it came from the dump

The location was good and the area was quiet and close to the beach.

The property was cold upon arrival. We then had to make several calls firstly to the holiday company who were just closing for the day and then to the owners son. Eventually we discovered the thermo batteries were dead. The property was not terribly clean, we had to wash cutlery and crockery. The fridge temp was not running efficiently. The toilet seats - 2 out of three was loose. The toilet brushes were disgusting, one I threw away. The kitchen washing up bowl was split and I cut a finger on it, not all lights worked. The garden was untidy and the doorstep muddy. WiFi was extremely poor, luckily our phones had good WiFi so we were able to link the children’s iPads to our phone WiFi. The water was either cold or Luke warm. The hoover hose is Brocken so when we tried to clean it fell apart. The windows were filthy, the conservatory windows you couldn’t see hardly out and the doors to the garden jammed. There was no information book other than WiFi details and area info. The garage was unkept and dirty so considering this is where the washing machine is it didn’t make you feel the washing was clean! Going by the calendar in the kitchen still had November 23 up and the visitor book marked with November date we can only assume that nobody had been in since then apart from putting bedding on.
