Beautiful view, the house was always warm, definitely on the smaller side but it was perfect for my partner and I. Had all the cooking facilities we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we’ll definitely be back!!

The proprerty manager had put the heat pump on in advance of our arrival so super cozy. Nice quality build and furniture etc. V quiet and comfy.

While most of the property was clean, there were black hairs scattered in the bathroom, which took the edge off the feeling of cleanliness. Lacks a coffee plunger but has one of those awful coffee makers that requires you to buy coffee in packaged singke serve units. The welcome book informs you that they only provide enough toiket paper, detergent, dishwash tablets, milk for your first night's stay. This was not actually the case for us, but expecting people to spend lots on a bag of dishwasher tabs 'available at Four Square in Tekapo' if they stay there multiple nights is stingey, and would result in the place not being looked after. Doesnt make sense when nightly charge is same whether 1 night, or more. Don't recall this being spelt out in the Booking.com description of the place either.

The bed was probably the most comfortable one I've slept on in my two weeks in South Island! The accommodation is very nice and clean, not to mention it feels very new and modern. My partner and I cooked some dinner and the cooking utensils are all available...(Interestingly, there was soy sauce, salt, pepper.. even thyme, but no cooking oil, but we still managed easily).

Love the view, the location and the heated bed!
