4411 Inn & Suites

Great place

We have been here before and appreciate the clean and comfortable rooms, the lovely decor, the friendly staff and location. We recommend 4411 to family and friends. It’s a great stopping point when we come to Michigan from Iowa to visit family and friends.

Room itself was clean and comfortable. If you’re a light sleeper, you may want to consider someplace else. This is located right next to the railroad tracks. It wasn’t bothersome to us but we can sleep through most noise.

No breakfast was provided, but they did offer nearby places.

The room was freezing when we arrived late at night after a volleyball tournament, and the thermostat was set to 62. The beds had very light blankets, not the best for this time of year.

The motel was remodeled and renovated beautifully. The room was a blend of retro and modern. Very comfortable bed and pillows. It was supplied with everything we could need. Traveling in the winter, we used the heat and it did a great job maintaining the temperature. Not always the case at other hotels we've stayed at. Loved the sliding doors leading from our room to a quiet courtyard facing a grove of trees. The window facing the parking lot is a security window and the peephole had a sliding cover, so I didn't need to use a bandaid like I usually do. The staff is very firendly and helpful. The location is a short drive to downtown and the state park. It would be fun to rent rooms with family or a group of friends for a few days while enjoying the lake and downtown area.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like.
