Home2 Suites By Hilton Carlsbad New Mexico

This hotel was a well thought out design - USB ports in the lobby and dining area, several throughout the room; very convenient and helpful with charging devices. The staff was super friendly, checking in with us each time we came into the lobby and even helped with dinner suggestions. There was a spacious courtyard to hang out or chill. The shower was delightful - warm and nice spray. We didn't end up using the kitchenette in the room but it looked like it had anything that could be needed. The room was spacious and allowed us room to spread out for the couple of days we stayed.

No real sugar in the dining area - several sugar substitutes but no sugar :( The pillows were very soft, offering little to no support, which made for a restless night of sleep.

A notch above your average Home2Suites. We’ve stayed in a number of them across the U.S. and the service here was attentive and kind. They got us cookware and the room was ready and clean. We found it to be a more than adequate place to stay before heading to the caverns the next morning. Only point - we accidentally booked the Home2Suites in Carlsbad, CALIFORNIA. Do be mindful.

Good place to stay. Really appreciated the list of local restaurants that the woman at the front desk put together. Ate next door at the brewpub. Pizza was good and beer was too!

Fatima-front desk was super friendly and nice. I observed the Breakfast person on Monday 12/30 was kind of rude to people-didn't sit well with me.. Beds were very uncomfortable...

Everything was fantastic

The rooms were perfect, all the dishes you need plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans. Also, had dish soap and scrubber and dishwasher pods. Overall very cozy and great stay!

A top-notch stay. Hotel looked brand new. Front desk staff was great, they even provided their own guide to local restaurants (with a brewpub right next door), rooms were clean and well appointed. The mini-fridge in the room could hardly even be called that, it was much larger than any mini-fridge I've ever had in a hotel as it was nearly standard sized. Kitchen is only lacking a burner, but they have those available at the front desk. We only stayed for 2 nights, but this would be a great place for an extended stay (which is why the lot had plenty of trucks for workers there I imagine). Some road noise, but that would be true of any hotel on the main drag. Just be aware that there's also one in Carlsbad, CA, which is confusing and caused us to reserve in the wrong place, but the hotel could accomodate us.
