Sades

House itself is lovely but be aware there is no air conditioning downstairs, just 1 fan. Dayget did bring another fan around for us to use as it was 35 degrees, the heat created more frustration as we could not access the spa. There were no curtains or blinds to block out the hot sun in the living areas.

This home attracted us due to the spa/jacuzzi for a  girls weekend IN!!!  Unfortunately at check in we realised the spa was dirty and half empty. It wasn’t until Saturday afternoon after constant chasing a full 25 hours later that we were able to use it. (Due to a change in weather we only used it for about 1 hour Saturday afternoon) It was a temporary fix only as the next morning it was half empty again.  This spa area is not how it appears in the photo, it is difficult to access over a big step off the verandah down to rocks and the cover is broken and hard to remove, there is no seating around or near the spa just a few rusty chairs on the verandah. Parking - only room for 2 cars (1 of which must be small), extra cars must park on a street around the corner which requires an uphill walk to the house. Overall disappointing stay at Sades and we would not return. We were given a small refund in compensation but we just wish we had of received what we paid for, with so many other properties available in the Daylesford area this is one I would definitely avoid!

Down stairs en suite to small

This house fits 10 people comfortably with big bedrooms (comfy beds!) We loved the backyard - kids enjoyed the trampoline and grassed area. Great large indoor space downstairs. Loved that each room had its own aircon.

The only issue we had was we couldn’t use the bbq - it needs to be replaced as it is too rusty to use. This was disappointing as we checked whether there was a usable bbq before the stay.

Great location, comfortable and clean house. Comfortable beds. Would definitely go back!
