The property is in the Historic District on the water front. Did not move our car the entire stay. Beautiful room with balcony lookimg out on Taylors Creek

We had a 3rd floor room with water view that was spacious and VERY comfortable. The room had, both, an AC and a dehumidifier and both ran constantly for us, keeping to room cool and preventing the musty odor that can occur in humid environments. The view over Taylor Creek and the ferry docks was lovely and lively. Granted, a deck would have been better but the step-up, comfortable sitting area surrounded the windows was enjoyable. The queen-sized beds were VERY comfortable, and the room decor was simple, clean and attractive. We loved the hardwood floors instead of tacky carpeting. Breakfast was called in and delivered to your room and included choices of muffin, bagel, yogurt crustless quiche, OJ and coffee. Everything was tasty and a lighter gastronomic start to the day vs. breakfast room fare. Each guest was allocated a single parking space, and the parking lot was large, easy to maneuver in and mostly shaded. The staff was very friendly. The location couldn't be better! We had a lovely 3 nights here and would not hesitate to return.

There is very little that need be improved upon. There is a 4-cup coffee pot in each room and 2 packets each of regular and decaf coffee, but they only provided 3 creamers and 3 sugars/2 Splenda. Since we don't use Maid Service, condiments are not replenished, necessitating asking at the front desk. Also, with a pot of decaf and a pot of regular coffee at breakfast, only 4 sugars and 4 creamers were supplied. We learned to ask for extra when we called in our breakfast order. While the room is VERY spacious, the bathroom is quite small, and a plus-sized individual might have difficulty in the cramped toilet area and the very low-seated toilet. Otherwise, no other complaints.
