H2O Hermosa Beach Hotel

Close to the beach and bunch of eating spots. Also if you have an EV they have a Tesla charger that you can use for free. If you don’t have a Tesla (like myself) they have an outlet right next to the charger so you can plug in your own charger.

Did find hair in new towels left in room. Place still charges for parking even though it’s $400 a night which is kinda crazy. Other than that no major complaint’s.

Сначала все было нормально, потом начали списывать деньги с карты и говорят то за налоги, то за парковку, я спрашиваю какая парковка , я только один день парковала машину. Потом персонал ворвался в номер когда я стояла в полотенце и просили выйти из номера хотя я сделала поздний чек аут и оплатила его

Modern and everything was working well. Room was excellent and there was a welcoming atmosphere in this hotel.

The breakfast was very poor

This stay was an 'almost great' stay. The hotel is close to the beach, offers bikes for rent and has a great breakfast. The rooms were ok but seemed like they were recently renovated and the hotel was in a big hurry to re-open. There are no luggage racks although there is ample space for one or two. It looked like a dresser that used to have a tv on it was removed so this is where you have to lay your suitcases on the floor to access their contents. Or you can lift the suitcase on and off the bed each time you need something. The electrical outlets are too loose to hold a plug such as your charging cable. The lamp attached to the wall by the bed was actually leaning forward as it pulled away from the wall. The biggest issue in the room we stayed in was the fact the bathroom door could not close. It seemed the wood door had either swelled in the humidity or the incorrect size door had been hung. The door could not be closed. We told the front desk and they asked if we wanted maintenance to look at it. There is no way this is a quick fix. The door will need replaced or, at the very least, removed and resized for the door frame. It is unacceptable to expect guests to have a non-functioning bathroom door. It was nice to be able to rent bikes right at the front desk and ride the Strand. It walkable to the beach, the Strand and lots of restaurants. We might stay here again - it would depend upon having a room with fully functional doors.
