Quay Apartments Exchange Quay

The apartment is comfortable, well located, close to the canal, making it easy to go for walks, for example, to MediaCity, the leisure and dining area of The Lowry, and the Imperial War Museum. It's also right in front of Old Trafford, for football fans. It's also well served by transport links (near two Metrolink stations). The person who handed us the keys was friendly and helpful.

Recommendations for some simple improvements (in the kitchen): steelwood cleaning pads; the kitchen extractor fan should work better (after cooking, the smells remained in the apartment); there should be more cutlery (only two spoons, three forks and three knives are not enough) and a salad bowl (Some of us enjoy cooking.)

Attractive, comfortable and (for Old Trafford) well located apartment - worked very well for a family of 4. Lovely Italian restaurant in the building next door and Coop round the corner. Private parking. Would stay again but come equipped.

Bit lacking in kitchen - no wine glasses and only two clean bowls for 4 people (though we did find a dirty one in the dishwasher). Also disappointed that there were no coffee pods for coffee machine and only 1 teabag. All things which can be easily sorted.

Location, bathrooms, facilities. I would definitely recommend staying

Only a couple of very minor points as really enjoyed our stay but quilt was too higher tog rating and rooms could do with a re-paint.
