Direkt am Meer, daher traumhafter Meerblick, Pool schlicht aber ok

Komplett überteuert!!! Keine Klimaanlage - konnten die 2 Nächte kaum schlafen da Zimmer so überhitzt war. Man hat die Hitze auch mit Durchlüften und Ventilator nicht rausgebracht. Die Bezeichnung Hotel ist total daneben. Es ist nur ein Haus mit Zimmern. Würde es die Hälfte kosten ok, aber wir haben uns von den guten Bewertungen hier in die Irre führen lassen. Können nicht verstehen wieso dieses Haus so gut bewertet wird. NIE MEHR wieder in dieses Haus!!!!!

"This place is so good I kind of want to keep it to myself."

This place is a hidden gem. All the rooms have a lanai facing the ocean, no AC needed. The owners live on site and are very helpful. Parking can be an issue at peak times, but we really didn't have any trouble. And it's about a mile walk into Kona-Kailua proper from here. Falling asleep to the sound of the surf is going to stay with me for a long time.

"It was great for the soul - wonderful oceanside stay."

We had top floor deluxe room king with incredible ocean view. It was a great room with a kitchenette and tile floor (I hate carpet in a hotel room). The sound of the ocean from the balcony with crashing waves was awesome, so good for the soul... The best nights sleep I've had in a long time!

Parking area within the hotel area was tight, but there was ample parking on the street less than a minute walk. There was only stairs no elevator to the upper floors, but they were wide and railed - my wife and I are in our 70's and had no problem.

"Great stay and manager-Kai."

Had a great 4 nt stay. Rooms/kitchenette appliances are very clean, and views from balcony are beautiful. King bed and pillows very comfortable. Kai, the manager was most accommodating handling any requests promptly. Nice to have snorkel gear, beach towels and umbrella to take for the day. Good location if going to town for happy hr and dinner.
